About Bitcoin Logical

The honest story of the domain, why Bitcoin Logical exists, and what makes it different from typical crypto coverage.

Bitcoin Logical is an independent publication covering one asset: Bitcoin. We publish news, education and on-chain analysis, and we hold ourselves to a simple discipline — reason from evidence, show the work, and say plainly what the evidence does not prove.

What the domain was, and what it is now

The bitcoinlogical.com domain was registered in December 2021. For most of its life it carried generic, unconfigured content, and by mid-2026 the actual published posts on it were crypto-casino and free-spin gambling SEO spam — material with no relationship to the site’s own name. We verified this directly, including against the Wayback Machine’s archive of the domain, before doing anything else.

We are not going to claim years of editorial history we cannot evidence. The honest version is this: the domain was registered in 2021; Bitcoin Logical as a publication was built and relaunched in 2026. Every piece of the previous gambling-affiliate content has been permanently removed and returns an HTTP 410 Gone response. None of it reflects this publication’s standards, because none of it was written under them.

Why Bitcoin only

We do not cover altcoins, memecoins, NFTs or token presales. That is a scope decision, not a claim that nothing else in the field is interesting. Depth on one asset beats shallow coverage of a thousand tickers, and a huge share of general “crypto news” exists to move attention toward whatever is being sold that week. Staying narrow is what lets us be slow, specific and occasionally boring when the evidence is thin — which is most of the time.

How we are different

Two things distinguish Bitcoin Logical from most coverage in this space. The first is The First-Principles Take, our structured analysis format: a claim, the evidence behind it, the reasoning connecting them, and an explicit account of what the evidence does not prove. The second is The Bitcoin Signal, our live, keyless data board, where every metric carries a plain-language note on what it can and cannot tell you.

Both are attempts to solve the same problem: most writing about Bitcoin either hypes it or dismisses it, and very little of it shows its work. We would rather be useful to a reader deciding what to believe than exciting to a reader looking for permission to act.

Who writes here

See the desk. Named profiles exist only for real people who have consented to a public byline. Everything else is published under the Bitcoin Logical editorial desk, an honest collective attribution rather than an invented person.

Not financial advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment or tax advice. Bitcoin is volatile and you can lose money. See our full disclaimer and editorial guidelines for the complete set of standing rules we publish and hold ourselves to.

Frequently asked

Is Bitcoin Logical new?

The domain was registered in 2021, but Bitcoin Logical as a publication was built and relaunched in 2026 under new editorial standards, replacing gambling-affiliate content that had nothing to do with the site's name.

Does Bitcoin Logical cover other cryptocurrencies?

No. The site is Bitcoin-only by design, covering Bitcoin and what is genuinely adjacent to it — Lightning, custody, mining, and Bitcoin-specific regulation.
