What is Bear market?
A sustained period of falling prices and weak sentiment. In Bitcoin these have historically lasted a year or more.
The term is descriptive rather than technical: there is no threshold that officially starts or ends one, and it is usually only identifiable in hindsight.
Bear markets are where most durable building happens and where most attention leaves, which is a large part of why they are useful to write about carefully.
