What is Position sizing?
Deciding how much to commit to a position based on how much you are prepared to lose if it goes against you.
Sizing from a defined risk limit and a defined invalidation level is arithmetic, and it is the part of risk management most often skipped in favour of entry timing.
Our position-size calculator performs that arithmetic. It does not know your circumstances, does not account for slippage or gaps, and is not a recommendation to take any position.
