Was ist Bitcoin dominance?
Bitcoin's market capitalisation as a share of the total reported crypto market capitalisation.
The numerator is relatively solid. The denominator sums thousands of assets at last traded price times a reported supply, including many that are thinly traded and largely promoter-controlled.
Rising dominance is often read as a rotation into Bitcoin, but it also rises simply when speculative assets deflate. Read it as a rough mood gauge, not a measurement.
