There is one desk and it reads everything. Below is what to send where, and what happens after you send it.

Corrections and factual disputes

These get read first and move fastest. Tell us the page, quote the sentence you think is wrong, and give the correct figure or fact with a source if you have one. You do not need to be polite about it and you do not need to be certain — a specific “this number looks wrong and here is why” is more useful than a general complaint, and we would rather check ten and fix one than miss it.

Substantive corrections are logged publicly at our corrections page with the date and what changed. We do not quietly edit a claim and pretend it was always right. If you reported it, we will tell you what we did, including if we concluded you were wrong.

Tips and story suggestions

We cover Bitcoin only. A tip is most useful when it points at a primary document — a filing, a chain transaction, a published rule, a repository commit — rather than at another article. We are not the right outlet for altcoin news, token launches, or “exclusive” access to an announcement in exchange for coverage.

We do not pay for tips, and we do not agree in advance to cover something in a particular way. If you need editorial control over the result, what you want is advertising, not a tip.

Pitches from writers

Guest analysis is welcome. Read the editorial guidelines first, particularly the requirement that every argument state explicitly what it does not prove — we have declined otherwise-good pieces that would not include that section. A pitch is best as a few sentences naming the claim you want to examine and the evidence you would use, not a finished draft.

Advertising and commercial enquiries

See the advertise page for what is available and, more importantly, what is not. Requests for sponsored articles, “guest posts” with embedded links, or paid coverage are declined without exception. Sending one costs us both time.

Press, legal and data requests

Right-of-reply requests are honoured: if we have written about you and you believe we got it wrong, that goes to the corrections route above and jumps the queue. For requests to access or delete personal data we hold about you, see the privacy policy — in practice the only personal data we hold about most readers is a newsletter email address, if you gave us one.

What we will never ask you for

We will never ask for a seed phrase, a private key, wallet access, a payment, or remote access to your machine — not by email, not on social media, not ever. Anyone who does this while claiming to be Bitcoin Logical is attempting to steal from you. We have no support line, no account recovery, and nothing to sell you that requires your keys.

Response times, honestly

This is a small desk. Corrections are typically actioned within a day or two. Pitches and general enquiries can take longer, and a pitch that gets no reply was not rejected on merit — it was probably missed, so a single follow-up is fine and not annoying.
