Terms of Service
Terms for using bitcoinlogical.com — what you may do with our work, what we do not warrant, and what is still to be finalised at launch.
These terms govern your use of bitcoinlogical.com. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable.
Using the site
Everything here is free to read. There is no account, no paywall and no email gate, and there is nothing to sign up for except an optional newsletter. By using the site you agree to these terms and to the disclaimer, which is the part that actually matters for your money.
What you may do with our work
Quote us. Summarise us. Teach from us. Cite a figure and link the page you took it from. We would rather be cited well than not cited, and we do not send takedown notices to people who credit us properly.
What we ask: name the publication, link the specific page rather than the homepage, and preserve the date shown so readers can judge how current it is. Do not republish whole articles verbatim as a substitute for the original, and do not present our journalism as personalised financial advice.
What belongs to whom
Original text, illustrations, tools and page design on this site are ours. Bitcoin price, mempool, hashrate and on-chain figures are facts about a public network and belong to nobody — we claim no ownership of the underlying data, only of the way we present and explain it. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.
The newsletter
If you subscribe, you give us an email address and nothing else. You can unsubscribe from any issue. We do not sell, rent or share subscriber addresses. See privacy policy for how it is stored.
Things not to do
Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure. Do not scrape in a way that degrades service for other readers — if you want the content in bulk, ask us. Do not impersonate Bitcoin Logical or represent yourself as writing for it.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available, and we correct errors publicly at corrections, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure is fit for a particular purpose. Live data may be delayed or briefly unavailable.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on anything published here. This is the practical consequence of the disclaimer: the site is information, the decisions are yours. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
These terms may change as the publication develops. Material changes will be noted here with a date rather than applied silently. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
Operator and jurisdiction
Bitcoin Logical is pre-launch. The operating entity and governing jurisdiction will be named on this page at launch. We would rather leave this section explicitly incomplete than state a company or jurisdiction that is not yet accurate. Questions in the meantime go to the contact page.
