¿Qué es Node?

A computer running Bitcoin software that independently validates every block and transaction against the consensus rules.

Nodes are where the rules actually live. A node rejects an invalid block regardless of how much work is behind it, which is why miners cannot unilaterally change the rules — they can only produce blocks that nodes will accept.

Running your own node means you verify rather than trust. It is the difference between knowing the rules were followed and being told they were.

Malinterpretado con frecuencia

Nodes do not mine and are not paid. They are the enforcement layer, not the production layer.
